SFA 2023 Benefit Concert
Sing for America is happy to announce our annual Benefit Concert will take place
at 7 p.m. on April 16, 2023 at the Palace of Fine Arts Theater in San Francsico. This year’s concert theme is Brand New Day: Songs of Hope and Renewal. In addition to our 90-voice chorus and 25-piece orchestra we will feature guest vocalist Lawrence Beamen, who was a top 5 contestant on NBC’s hit show America’s Got Talent. His 2014 hit pop single “Round and Round” reached #11 on Billboard’s hot singles sales chart. We will also welcome returning guest artist Caitlin McGinty, who for many years was a star of San Francisco’s famous Beach Blanket Babylon show. The San Francisco Boys’ Chorus is our featured guest ensemble. They were our featured ensemble in 2012 and join us again in celebration of their 75th anniversary. Purchase tickets here. Use coupon any one of our singer's SFA number (e.g. SFA001) for a $10 discount. You can find all our singers, their numbers and their fundraising pages here. |

Rehearsals begin January 30, 2023, and will be held on Monday nights at the Marines Memorial Club in San Francisco culminating with our Annual Benefit Concert in April. Over a 12-week rehearsal period, our chorus members receive world-class vocal and choral instruction. We give our members the online fundraising tools and support to raise money for the charity of their choice. |
Unlike other charities, there are no minimum fundraising amounts, no audition needed, and perfect attendance at rehearsals is not required; however, making music and having fun are mandatory!
